1,072 Rockfish, 17 Lingcod, 1,211 Whitefish, 18 Sculpin, 33 Sheephead, 65 Perch, 3 Sand Bass, 101 Calico Bass, 9 Barracuda, 1 Yellowtail, 1 Halibut, and 12 White Seabass.
Good times all around, as boats are staying shallow for the most part. The boats are fishing a variety of species in and around the kelp, or over shallow rock piles. It’s already half way through June and the weather is stable. Temperatures are cooler than usual at this point in the year, so it may prolong the spring fishery. Time will tell, but the water is still at or below 62 degrees and the overcast sky has settled in for the long haul. Plenty of openings for fishing the upcoming week, and there are still a lot of fish out there to be caught!
