I got on to the Island Tak on Monday night. Got my gear all set up and went to sleep. After looking at all the fish reports, I thought there must be a lot of pressure in the area where they were finding them. In the morning that was our first stop and sure enough there were over 20 boats looking for yellowtail. I was not disappointed – I thought I came to this party too late. Steve Kelly decided to find another spot and boy did he. We were throwing flat falls and using beautiful bait from the landing. It was a day I will never forget. At 10:30am we made our limits and I actually got to come home early, missed the traffic with a cooler full of beautiful fish. Thank you Steve and Jonny on the Island Tak
