Fishing Report for Channel Islands Sportfishing:
The end of another productive weekend here at Cisco’s! The game fish are starting to show up at the islands according to some of our captains, but no bite yet! Catching fish however has not been an issue.. boats are loading up on tasty bottom critters like Red Snapper and other assorted Rockfish species. The Lingcod bite is also very good, but the best catches are still on the overnight trips heading to the outer islands.
The ocean conditions and overall weather was good this weekend. Mornings have been cool and a bit foggy, but clear and sunny by the afternoon. We have been very lucky so far this spring in regards to the marine conditions.
We have several special trips running through the month of April. We will be continuing our “Lingcod Special” every Monday. Our 3/4 day 2 for 1 special will continue to be one of our most popular trips every Tuesday. On Sunday’s we have a couple trips to help get the kids out fishing.. buy one adult ticket and you can bring junior for free. Our newest special run is every Friday with “Shallow water Friday’s” at the outer islands.
