The 2013 Gray Whale migration is underway and sightings have been good on every trip.
We have had a boat out daily, the weather has been great and encounters numerous.
On most trips, multiples have been observed.
The vast majority of our southbounders have been observed in the vicinity of rugged Anacapa Island.
The islands have been very green with recent rains, and our trips have offered the casual observer a unique look at offshore naturescapes in all their glory.
As I am putting this blog together, a friend of mine called and informed me he was following a pod of Orcas around offshore here in the Northern Channel Islands. Looks likadaption and adventure awaits us on upcoming trips.
